An encounter around the material

Marimar, in pursuing its zero-waste approach, invites to observe natural stone in its most authentic context: everyday use. No installation, therefore, but a real, lived-in space where stone is a permanent intervention.
Bar Rito thus becomes the starting point for an open conversation with architects and professionals, not so much to showcase a material, but to discuss its role within contemporary spaces. A direct moment, without filters, where the material is not described, but experienced.

Bar Rito: a project that interprets stone

Bar Rito is based on a reinterpretation of the typical Milanese bar, maintaining a balance between existing elements and new interventions. The original surfaces, walls and terrazzo flooring, remain visible and become part of the project. The intervention focuses on a few elements, clearly defined and readable.

Wenghe Bordeaux is the central material. It clads the counter and the tables, creating a visual and material continuity within the space. It is not used as a decorative finish, but as an element that structures the project. The stone introduces variation, depth, and a tactile quality that evolves with use. In this case, the material is not “applied”, but integrated into the functioning of the space. In this sense, Bar Rito concretely translates the Trust a solid choice philosophy: stone not as a finish, but as an active part of the project.

From space to content

The meeting does not stop at the project. It is also an opportunity to share our philosophy and approach to natural stone. This approach takes shape in our editorial space which, for the occasion, also becomes a printed magazine: a guide dedicated to natural stone design with a programmatic character, Trust a solid choice — Issue 0. A natural step: from the built space to the content that explains it.
If Bar Rito represents a concrete application example, the magazine aims to make this approach accessible and shareable. Not a collection of images, but a tool to navigate materials, processes, and design choices.

A way to transfer knowledge, clarify doubts, and overcome many of the preconceptions still associated with natural stone.

An approach that continues

The idea behind Trust a solid choice is simple: understanding stone in order to use it consciously. The event, the project, and the magazine are part of the same path. On one side, real spaces where the material takes shape. On the other, content that helps to read, interpret, and use it correctly.
Because choosing natural stone does not simply mean selecting a material, but understanding how it can become an active part of the project, evolving over time.
