Bar Rito

Stone and steel shaping a contemporary space

Bar Rito is a street-facing café developed within a compact space, where existing elements and new interventions coexist in balance. Raw walls and the original terrazzo flooring are preserved and enhanced as integral parts of the project, defining a contemporary and material-driven atmosphere. The intervention focuses on a few essential elements. The counter, clad in Wenghe Bordeaux marble, becomes the focal point of the space, alongside the technical steel structure of the shelving behind. Also used for the tabletops, the material introduces a continuous and coherent material presence. The result is a precise and balanced space, where existing matter and design gesture interact, and where natural stone defines both identity and experience.
